Brad Hamilton and his fellow team members of the Colorado COVID Legal Relief program were recognized as “Pandemic Heroes” for their volunteer work with businesses.

The Colorado Lawyers Committee (CLC) awarded Brad Hamilton and his fellow volunteer team members with the Pandemic Heroes Award for assisting three or more businesses on behalf of  the Colorado COVID Legal Relief (CCLR) program. The program provided pro bono  legal advice to Colorado small businesses affected by the pandemic.

The CCLR program members and its team of frequent volunteers were recognized for their help with more than 250 small businesses between June 2020 and July 2021. Brad is a shareholder at the Denver, Colo., law firm of Jones & Keller, P.C., specializing in corporate, securities, business, finance, and transaction law, including public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, mergers and acquisitions, business formation and financing, venture and equity capital.

In launching this program to match small businesses with pro bono legal services, the CLC partnered with the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, the Denver Chamber of Commerce and several law firms. The CCLR has since transitioned into the Small Business Legal Assistance Program in response to changing needs.
