Arrupe Jesuit High School (Arrupe) is a Catholic college-prep school, with 418 students, 98% of which identify as students of color. All –100% – of their families come from a background with limited economic resources. Arrupe has a successful graduation rate of more than 95% and is rated in the top 20% of private schools in Colorado, maintaining a significantly higher rate than the State of Colorado Class of 2022 4-year graduation rate of 82.3%.[i]
We’ve been a long-time supporter of Arrupe and their model in work-study success, which gives graduates four years of work experience in the corporate world. The Corporate Work Study Program at Arrupe partnered with more than 120 business partners throughout the Denver metro area in 2022 and are looking for more. As students explore different career fields and develop workplace skills, they also gain valuable experience – and confidence – through entry-level positions in banking, law, medicine, finance and more.
