Christopher Mills has assumed the Chair position of the Colorado Bar Association (COBAR) Litigation Section Executive Council for 2024-2025. The Litigation Section focuses on the interests of, and challenges facing, trial lawyers and litigation practitioners. The Section has active programs to promote advocacy training, law reform, and professional development. The section’s governing board, Litigation Section Council, serves as a resource to assist CBA and Colorado legislature in analyzing pending legislation and the courts in analyzing proposed rule changes.
Chris has held active roles at COBAR, most recently as Vice Chair of the Litigation Section.
Chris is an accomplished trial attorney focusing on civil and complex commercial litigation and trial practice, with an emphasis on business, contract, and financial disputes. He has litigated cases of all sizes, handling every aspect of civil litigation, including dispositive motions practice and electronic discovery management in document-intensive cases. Chris has successfully taken cases to trial in state and federal court. His broad experience includes breach of contract, corporate, fraud, COCCA, bid-rigging, real estate, Uniform Commercial Code, trade secret, securities, lease, tort, employment, civil rights, constitutional, administrative, and intellectual property disputes. Chris has also represented creditors and individuals in receivership.
