March 04, 2026

Sophisticated work, real responsibility, and the autonomy to build a practice

We’re hiring a Litigation Associate

Jones & Keller is seeking a Litigation Associate who wants sophisticated work, real responsibility, and the autonomy to build a practice—not just bill hours.

Our litigators work in complex, high-stakes matters across state and federal courts and national arbitration forums, while maintaining a collegial, inclusive culture that genuinely values flexibility and entrepreneurial thinking.

This role is a great fit if you want:

  • Early, hands-on litigation experience
  • Meaningful involvement in motions practice
  • Exposure to commercial, securities, employment, and natural resources litigation
  • Trial and deposition opportunities—not just back-office research
  • A firm model that rewards initiative, cross-selling, and business development
  • Flexible hours and the freedom to chart your own path within a deep bench of talent

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct legal research and draft substantive motions, including Rule 12 and Rule 56 motions
  • Assist with deposition preparation, summaries, and select examinations
  • Support trial teams in sophisticated civil and commercial litigation matters
  • Participate in strategy discussions and work directly with shareholders on active cases

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice in Colorado (or eligible for admission)
  • 2–8 years of litigation experience
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Experience drafting motions and managing litigation tasks
  • Ability to work directly with clients and contribute to case strategy

The salary range for this position is $135,000-$215,000, based on experience. Jones & Keller offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with firm match, and bonus potential.
