Blaine Bengtson
ASSOCIATE

Blaine is an Associate Attorney in Jones & Keller’s litigation section. Blaine’s practice focuses primarily on commercial and environmental litigation.

Experience

In his commercial practice, Blaine represents businesses and individuals in a variety of business disputes. Blaine’s experience representing clients in matters involving state and federal environmental laws includes the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resources Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and the Clean Air Act (CAA). He also has experience assisting clients with other natural resource issues, including water rights and water quality. Blaine is licensed to practice law in Colorado.

Education

Blaine graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During law school, Blaine served as a law clerk for several environmental and natural resources law firms. He also worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Mobile Sources Enforcement Branch where he assisted with the development enforcement cases under the Clean Air Act. Blaine also served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Denver Water Law Review.

Blaine earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas with dual majors in Public Administration and Environmental Studies. He completed several of his environmental studies courses while studying abroad in Freiburg, Germany.
